The Ohio Graduate Student Symposium has been held every year since 2006 to bring together graduate students from the Ohio Computer and Information Science university communities to network and discuss common research areas.

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Stuart Zweben, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University, and currently Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Administration in the College of Engineering, will deliver this year's keynote address. Before serving as Dean, he served as the Chair of the department from 1994 to 2005. He is a Fellow and former President of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), a Fellow and former President of the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB), and a Fellow of ABET. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET and on the editorial board of the Empirical Software Engineering Journal. He also chairs the Surveys Committee for the Computing Research Association (CRA), which conducts the annual Taulbee Survey of Ph.D.-granting computer science and computer engineering departments in North America.
